Maybe a little scaffolding will help you get over Hump Day.
A couple of C-124s, a few T-33s, and a C-97 in the background. Hard to tell what else is in the distance.
Have a great day!

You seem to be implying that there’s a difference between weekend days and weekdays. There’s only CFA days and non-CFA days, although I will admit that I’ve only been there once this year. And, while they were fast and efficient, they didn’t give me a receipt so I don’t get my points...
Hump day you say? I never realized that this was based on the DC-4.

Not sure if you listen to podcasts much, but the Business Wars podcast on Boeing versus Airbus was pretty good. (Also, Business Wars is narrated by Austin resident and The Texas Standard voice David Brown. Great radio / podcast voice.)

I never realized that this was based on the DC-4.
That squared off tail is a giveaway. It’s amazing what they got away with basing planes on a proven platform. This thing started off as a Boeing 377, which started off as a Boeing B-29.
CFA days? Not sure what you mean.

In the distance? I think those are aeroplanes.

I don’t often listen to podcasts, but that sounds interesting. Boeing recently axed its deal with Embraer , which now has Embraer looking to the Chinese for a partnership. I don’t know the inner workings of the deal, but on the surface it seems like Boeing just screwed up again and chucked out any hope of competing with the A220.

Chick-fil-A...
I only get cravings for it on Sundays

That’s the only day my boys seem to ask for it. As far as working at a FF restaurant, I’m thinking CFA looks like a good deal, with Sundays off guaranteed.

Obviously one heck of a good base airframe.

Your eyes must be better than mine, but unless this is a European base (and it likely isn’t since Larkins took the majority of his postwar photos in California), it’s more likely to be a C-82 or C-119 .

I could definitely use some scaffolding, I was up until 3am working on a time sensitive item..
